Monica Alongi, centre left, and Don Hollinger, centre right, accept the award for Large Business of the Year on behalf of SURE Print & Graphics
A medical marijuana CEO, a feature film producer, a celebrity chef, a pizza kingpin, an internationally recognized blues guitarist and an analytics expert are among this year’s Forty Under 40 recipients.
“The recipients hail from so many industries,” says Ian Faris, the president and CEO of the chamber. “It really demonstrates leadership across so many business categories, from high tech to hospitality.”
“As our customers' business grows & expands, they know that we will still be there to meet their printing needs. The team members here are professionals and they take their design work very seriously, but have not strayed from its roots as a family business built on quality work and loyalty to its staff and community.” Alongi says. “They are not just here to work a shift; this is their career.”
We just finished making this 36 foot sign for the new solar greenhouse classroom being built at Gisele Lalonde School in Orleans! It is made of used sign board, vinyl and labour donated by SURE Print and suppliers.
Check out the project's website for live cam and updates.
Standing at the front counter of SURE Print & Graphics in Orleans, it is quickly apparent that the store's reputation for quality was built on both a sense of "know-how" as well as "know-who".
It's nice to get to know someone because then you know what to expect. Surprises are kept to a minimum and in business that's a good thing.
It was March 1992 when Monica Alongi, her father Vince and family moved to Orleans to open a franchise called SURE Print & Copy Centre. The franchise originated in British Columbia and opening SURE Print & Copy Centre in Orleans would be the first one in Ontario. It is now the biggest location in Canada.
